AUTONOMOUS LEARNING CLASS MAY 11TH

EXAMPLES OF CLASSES WITH A LESSON PLAN PREVIOUSLY MADE - PART 2


My classmates of Autonomous Learning class did the demonstration of how could be a class with a lesson plan done previously, and how it could be interesting for students when you do drama exercises; remember that in my previous post I show you the correct form to do a lesson plan (This is the link: http://autonomouslearningworld.blogspot.com.co/2017/04/autonomous-learning-class-april-25th.html ) and in other post I talked to you about some drama strategies/activities (This is the link: http://autonomouslearningworld.blogspot.com.co/2017/04/autonomous-learning-classes-april-18th.html ). Now, in this post I am going to show you the examples that my classmates gave in the class.

Today I will continue talking about some examples to of classes with a lesson plan previously made.

GROUP 5 (David, Fernanda, Luisa, Yilver)
Subject: Adjectives
Drama Activity Strategy: Costumes
Parts of the class:
Warm up: They gave us (the students) photocopies which had some pictures of some cartoons, and we had to identify the name of the cartoon and write a character of that cartoon.
Introduction: They talked about Adjectives.
Practice: To practice the new vocabulary we had to go in a webpage called AgendaWeb.com and practice with an activity.
Production:  In this part they used the drama activity that was costumes. They gave us some different pictures and we had to find the other people with the same picture, then we had to find the name of the character in the picture and three qualities.
Review: In the review we had to do a homework (a photocopy with activities with the subject).




GROUP 6 (Alejandra, Nicolle, Tania, Yorlexi)

Subject: Nationalities and countries
Drama Activity Strategy: Puppets
Parts of the class:
Warm up: They put us (the students) to play a game which is called “Broken phone”.
Introduction: They talked about nationalities and countries.
Practice: To practice the new vocabulary we watched a video and we had to answer the questions of a photocopy that they gave us.
Production:  In this part they used the drama activity that was puppets.
Review: In the review we watched a video.

PERSONAL OPINION: These examples help me to have an extra idea of a subject that I could explain when I am a teacher.
